During the review meeting conducted by COA in the month of January 2019 it was observed that there were lot of advance pending with Managers and Club Secretaries ( as brought out by Auditors and Accounts Dept). Such pending advances as on 23.07.2019 are around Rs.24.00 Lakhs. Advances pertaining to the period prior  to 31.03.2018 are around Rs.19.00 Lakhs. The lists(two nos) having details of Name, Advance pending, since when pending, purpose of advance are attached below.

As HCA  could not realize in spite of their best efforts,the COA calls upon all these individuals to settle the advances on or before Monday 5th August 2019 failing which we will be constrained to take action as may be necessary for recovery and report the same to the Ombudsman for further action.

Hyderabad Cricket Association and Apex Council members, express our regret at the sudden demise of  HCA Cricketer Virender Naik, who played for Marredpally Sporting Club affiliated to HCA in A-3 Division One Day League. He passed away at Marredpally Ground during the match.

Our condolences to his family and pray almighty that may his soul rest in peace.  The Apex Council -HCA have decided to pay a ex-gratia of Rs. 3,00,000/- to the deceased family.

74th INDEPENDENCE DAY, FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY .

On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, Flag hoisting ceremony was held at 11.00 a.m. at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Up pal, Hyderabad.   Apex Council Members and HCA Staff were present on the Occasion.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association Staff which were instrumental in effectively performing their duties during the pandemic lockdown period and were timely available in emergency service in the office without fear of Corona, Mr. V Raju, Mr. Prabhakar,  Mr. Pankaj,  Mr. Rajshekar,  Mr. Suresh  (Staff  & Security Personal) were felicitated by The Apex Council Members.

The ceremony included a shawl, a garland of flowers, a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize.

This is to inform that entries are invited from various SCHOOLS, JUNIOR COLLEGES located in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad for HCA UNDER 16   INTER SCHOOL & COLLEGE CRICKET TOURNAMENT to be conducted by the HYDERABAD CRICKET ASSOCIATION for 2019-20 season.

ENTRY FEE for the tournament is Rs.1,000/- per team charged towards registration of players and issue of identity cards.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association is conducting One Day Knock Out Tournament For 3-Day's , 2-Day's Division League Teams including Telangana Districts from 21st Jan 2019 at various grounds.

Teams having the grounds may make sure that their grounds be prepared for the matches; it should be ensured that registration for the knock-out tournament to be completed by 19-01-2019 (Saturday) at RGICS, Uppal by 5:00 pm.

Late Deshabhatla Gopal Rao

The Members and staff of The Hyderabad Cricket Association deeply regret to inform the sudden demise of our curator Late Shri.D.Gopal Rao who passed away this morning at the age of 79 years due to massive cardiac arrest.

Late Shri D.Goapl Rao served the HCA for more than 40 years with utmost sincerity and dedication. He was instrumental in the preparation of wickets and ground at RGICS when the stadium was built. He was associated with many legends of Hyderabad cricket association like Late Mr.Ghulam Ahmed, Late Mr.M.L Jaisimha, Late E.D.Aibara, Mr.Surender Reddy, Mr.P.S. Rammohan Rao, Mr.P.R.Mansing, Mr.N.Shivlal Yadav and Mr.Arshad Ayud to name a few.

He took over from Late Shri. Venkatswamy, who was the curator at LB stadium, from where the HCA office was functioning then. Late Shri.D.Gopal Rao played an important role as a curator, post LB stadium days, in the preparation of sporting wickets both for BCCI domestic matches at various locations as well as all the International matches played at Hyderabad.

The members and staff of The Hyderabad Cricket Association offer our deepest condolences to the near and dear ones' of Late Shri.D.Gopal Rao and place on record his immense contribution and services to our association.
