Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Uppal to facilitate the Hyderabad Team, winners of TNCA, All India Invitational Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament
On 13th September 2024, press conference was called by the Hyderabad Cricket Association to facilitate the Hyderabad Team that won the TNCA’s All India Buchi Babu Tournament convincingly by beating Chhattisgarh Team by 243 runs.
The conference was preceded by Hon. President HCA Sri A Jagan Mohan Rao in presence of all Apex Council Members and Head of Cricket Operations, Sri Venkatesh Prasad.
The president was happy to accept the start of the Season 2024-25 with a victory. He announced Apex Council award of Rs.25,00,000/- to the team. He further emphasized on his vision for Hyderabad Cricket stating that he wants the team to win Ranji Trophy for the third time. He encouraged the team to perform well and promised all the support needed from the side of Apex Council to achieve the objective. He informed the players to take full advantage of the presence of Sri Venkatesh Prasad for guidance. He also stated that he wants at least 6 to 7 players from Hyderabad to figure in the Indian Premier League.
