APEX COUNCIL MEETING- Dated 15-07-2025

 

"In the backdrop of current challenges, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) held an Apex Council meeting on 15th July 2025 to safeguard the continuity of operations and restore robust governance."

With the President and Treasurer in judicial custody and the Secretary unavailable, the Apex Council, invoking Rule 15(7) of the HCA Constitution and the Doctrine of Necessity, Functional Quorum, Principles of Functional Governance resolved that Vice President Shri Sardar Daljeet Singh will assume charge as the Acting President until further notice. This decision ensures that administrative paralysis is prevented and the game continues without disruption.

Key Decisions Taken in the Meeting:

1. Grievance Redressal System for Players Introduced
A 3-tier mechanism (physical box, toll-free line, online portal) will be launched to empower players with safe, accessible feedback channels.

2. Revamp of HCAE Academy
Recruitment process to begin for a full-time Director and expert coaching staff, aiming to rebuild HCA’s pipeline of cricketing talent.

3. Monthly HCA Newsletter Launch
To foster regular communication with stakeholders, and the cricketing fraternity, promoting transparency about activities happening at HCA.

4. Communication to BCCI
BCCI to be formally notified regarding temporary leadership and updated official correspondence procedures.

5. Biometric Attendance Across Grounds
Approved for all venues to bring digital accuracy, reduce proxy attendance, and enhance work culture discipline.

6. CEO Application Deadline Extended
Now open until 25th July 2025 to attract a broader, qualified talent pool.

7. Focus on Rule-Based Governance
Every decision taken is rooted in the HCA Constitution and backed by legal principles to ensure accountability.

8. Transparency as Core Value
From grievance redressal to audit trails, the Apex Council emphasized institutional transparency across functions.

9. Player-Centric Outlook
Welfare, development, and fair selection pathways remain at the heart of HCA’s future planning.

10. Stability with Continuity, SOP's to be in place :
Despite adversity, HCA’s commitment to league operations, academy functioning, and talent development remains unwavering. SOP's process for introducing official procedures to all departments.
