HCA Hall of Fame: M V Narasimha Rao
M V Narasimha Rao Played 4 Tests for India in 1978-79. He was a RHB and RA Leg Spin Bowler. He played 108 FC matches for Hyderabad between 1971 and 1988 and scored 4845 runs with 9 centuries and 30 fifties. He also took 245 wickets with 15 five wicket hauls in an inning and 3 ten wicket in a match. He captained Hyderabad to its second Ranji Trophy win in 1986-87 season. He now resides in Ireland and is a popular coach and youth worker. He was awarded an MBE for his services to the community there. He also served for a short time as Director of HCAE.
