B Division Two-Day League Championship 2026–27
Knockout / Final Stages – Tie or No Result


This is to inform all affiliated clubs of the following provision applicable to the Knockout / Final Stages of the B Division Two-Day League Championship 2026–27:

Tie or No Result – Knockout / Final Stages

In the event of a tie or No Result in any match during the Knockout / Final Stages, the team that is higher in the Overall Ranking Table at the end of the League Stage shall be declared the winner of the match and shall progress to the next stage.

For determining the higher-ranked team in the event of equal points at the end of the League Stage, the following order of criteria shall apply:

1. Points: The team with higher points shall be ranked higher.
2. Net Run Rate (NRR): If the points are equal, the team with the higher NRR shall be ranked higher.
3. Final Coin Toss: If both points and NRR are equal, the winner shall be determined by a final toss of the coin.

The above provisions shall be applicable to all Knockout / Final Stage matches of the B Division Two-Day League Championship 2026–27.

All clubs are requested to take note of the above and ensure that the provision is followed accordingly.
