B Division Two-Day League Championship 2026–27
Knockout / Final Stages – Tie or No Result


With reference to the earlier circular regarding the Knockout / Final Stages, it is clarified that the earlier provision based on the higher points shall be ignored.

In the event of a Tie or No Result, the team having the higher Winning Percentage at the end of the League Stage shall be declared the winner and shall progress to the next stage.

Winning Percentage

Winning Percentage = Matches Won ÷ Matches with Result × 100


• No Result matches will not be counted while calculating the Winning Percentage.
  
  
• If the Winning Percentage is equal, the team with the higher Net Run Rate (NRR) will be ranked higher.
  
  
• If both Winning Percentage and NRR are equal, the winner will be decided by a final toss of the coin.

This clarification shall apply to all Knockout / Final Stage matches of the A and B Division Two-Day League Championships 2026–27.

All clubs are requested to take note of the above and follow the provision accordingly.
