HCA summer Cricket Coaching camps from 20th April 2024

Arshanapally Jaganmohan Rao, President of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has started the activities for the development of cricket in the districts. As a part of this, funds of Rs.15 lakh per district have already been released to nine districts from HCA. Saturday, Jaganmohan Rao released the summer camps schedule and procedures at uppal stadium. HCA Secretary Devraj, Vice President Daljit Singh, Treasurer CJ Srinivas, Assistant Secretary Basavaraju, Councilor Sunil Agarwal etc. participated in this program. He said that we are conducting summer training camps in three places in each district and we are giving opportunities to 80 to 100 children in each camp.
A Jaganmohan Rao also stated that training will be given in under-14, 16, 19 for boys and under-15 and under-19 for girls. He said that the online registration process will start from 15th of this month. Interested candidates have to register their names in HCA website from 15th morning 10am to before 18th 6pm of this month (next Thursday). We conduct training camps from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm. We are conducting these summer camps for totally free. Jagan mohan Rao made it clear that hca is not charging any fee for this camps. It's totally free he added. Hca will provide refreshments to cricketers in camps for free he added. HCA summer Cricket Coaching camps from 20th April 2024

Mega Summer Cricket Camps are being organized from 20th of this month, under the aegis of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). Committed to the development of cricket in Telangana districts, HCA has prepared to conduct summer training camps for the first time in its history for the poor cricketers. At least 2500 cricketers will be given free training with expert coaching staff for 30 days in about 28 centers across the state. Aspiring cricketers will have to register their names from 15th of this month for free cricket training at HCA training camp. HCA President Arshanapalli Jaganmohan Rao announced this in a media conference held at Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday. HCA Apexcouncil members R. Devaraj, Daljith Singh, Srivasa Rao, Basavaraju, Sunil Agarwal were present in the press conference.
HCA is very much committed to the development of cricket in Telangana districts. Each District Cricket Association has already allocated Rs. 15 lakh funds have been released. We are conducting cricket camps in three centers in each district. For each training centre Rs. 5 lakhs will be spent. We will give admission to 80-100 people in each training center. We will also provide nutritious food to the cricketers for 30 days during training. Summer training camps will be developed into cricket academies in the long run. If expert coaches and physios are not available in any district, NIS coaches and physios will be sent to the district centers under the aegis of HCA. After the summer camp, district teams were selected and plans were made to organize districts cricket tournament in Hyderabad. HCA plans to set up four more gymkhana-style cricket grounds in Hyderabad.

Solution to electricity problem:
HCA governing body has brought a solution to Uppal Stadium's electricity problem. HCA has never incurred electricity arrears. Notices relating to Rs.1.67 crores are only subject to surcharges. The previous HCA governing body had consulted with the government for exemption on surcharges. Current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is enthusiastic about sports. Due to this, at a time when we also wanted to consult with the CM for the waiver of surcharges, the electricity department officials stopped the electricity supply without any information before the match. This is a completely unexpected development. The problem has now been solved with the initiative of the CMO officials and the senior officials of the power department. HCA has already paid Rs. 15 lakhs deposited. It was agreed to pay the remaining amount in three installments in three months. Henceforth there will be no interruption in power supply to Uppal Stadium.
Modernization of Uppal Stadium:
Uppal Stadium is the pride of Telangana. We are modernizing the stadium from time to time. A new roof, seating, floodlights have been installed in the stadium during the 2023 ICC World Cup. Toilets, corporate box rooms, general stands, lifts, lounges are to be modernized inside the stadium for the comfort of spectators. We have already made plans for this. We will start the modernization work of Uppal Stadium after the end of the IPL season. The current capacity of Uppal Stadium is 39 thousand. The Apex Council is planning to discuss the feasibility of increasing the seating capacity of the stadium with engineering experts and take a decision if necessary. In view of the demand for a cricket match in Hyderabad, a stadium with a capacity of at least one lakh is required. If everything goes well, the Hyderabad Cricket Association is ready to build another new stadium.
